Sweet Lassi by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Chilled yogurt 2 cups
  • Chilled water or milk 1-1/2 cups
  • Sugar 5 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Rose water 2 tsp
  • Ice cubes 6-8
  • Sliced dry fruits 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Whisk yogurt well and add sugar and water or milk.
  2. Now add cardamom powder and few saffron strands, as a substitute for cardamom powder, you can also add 2 tsp of rose water.
  3. Pour lassi in tall glasses and serve.
  4. Decorate with pinch or two of cardamom powder, saffron strands and sliced dry fruits.
