Sesame Chicken by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • Sesame oil 1 tsp
  • Flour 2 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Water 2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/4 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Chicken boneless cubes 4
  • Oil for frying
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Vinegar 1/4 cup
  • Corn flour 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • Sesame oil 2 tbsp
  • Red chili paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Sesame seeds 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Put soya sauce, sesame oil, flour, corn flour, water, baking powder, baking soda and oil in bowl and mix it nicely.
  2. Now put chicken cubes and keep in fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. Then heat oil, put water, chicken stock, vinegar, corn flour, sugar, soya sauce, sesame oil, red chili paste and garlic and stir it until it boils.
  4. Now marinated chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Then take out in paper and keep in platter.
  6. Now sprinkle sesame seeds and serve.
