Ingredients:
- Oil 1/3 cup
- Slice onion 1-1/2 cup
- Garlic 1/2 tsp
- Chicken 500 gm
- Salt 1 tbsp
- Orange zest 1/2 tbsp
- Black pepper 1/2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tbsp
- Dry lemon 1
- Cinnamon powder 1/2 tbsp
- Cloves powder 1/4 tsp
- Tomato paste 1 tbsp
- Chopped tomatoes 1-1/2 cup
- Rice 250 gm
- Shredded carrots 2 cup
For Topping:
- Carrot 2 cup
- Raisins 1/3 cup
- Cashew nuts as required
Method:
- Heat oil and fry onion and garlic until brown.
- Now put chicken and cook until brown.
- Then put salt, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, dry lemon and tomatoes and cook until oil comes up.
- Now put 1 glass water and cook until chicken tender.
- Then take out chicken, put on second pan and fry until brown.
- Now put tomato paste and orange zest in mixture and cook until it boils.
- Now make layer of rice over chicken, put tomato mixture and cook until water dries and rice cook.
- Put oil in second pan and cook carrot until soft.
- Then put raisins and mix it nicely.
- Now take out rice in dish and put chicken pieces on top.
- Then put carrot, raisins and cashew nuts and serve.
