Aloo Tikki by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Chopped onion 1
  • Boiled green peas 1/2 cup
  • Coriander 3 tbsp
  • Chopped green chili 2
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Kashmir oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Frying Patty:

  • Mashed potatoes 2 cup
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For filling: Heat oil in pan and fry onion.
  2. Now put peas, green chilies, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, lemon juice, salt and mashed potatoes and knead it nicely.
  3. Divide aloo mixture into 2 portions.
  4. Then make balls with hand and fill mixture in it.
  5. Now press with hands and fry in hot oil.
