Seviyan Kheer by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Broken vermicelli 1-1/2 cups
- Milk 500 ml
- Sugar 3 tbsp
- Ghee 2 tbsp
- Green cardamoms 4-5
- Cloves 3-4
- Fried almonds 7-8
- Raisins 2 tsp
- Rose water 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Heat ghee in pan.
- Fry cloves and cardamom till release their aroma in ghee.
- Now add vermicelli and fry till they become golden brown.
- Pour milk and let it come to boil.
- Add sugar and mix well.
- Lower flame and let milk simmer for 5-7 minutes till vermicelli gets cooked.
- Lastly add fried almonds and rose water.
- Serve seviyan kheer hot, warm or cold.
