Badami Gosht by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:
- Beef (with bone) 1 kg
- Cinnamon 2-3 sticks
- Chopped garlic 5-6
- Black cardamoms seeds 1 tsp
- Finely chopped onion 1 tsp
- Finely chopped ginger 1 inch
- Yogurt 1/4 cup
- Saffron 1 pinch
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Almond paste 1/2 cup
- Desiccated coconut 4-5 tbsp
- Whole red chili 2-3
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Almonds for garnish
Method:
- Heat oil in pot and add cinnamon and cardamom seeds.
- When it crackles, put onion, ginger and garlic and fry it.
- Then put beef. roast for 3-4 minutes, add water as required and cook until beef tender.
- When beef tender, put yogurt, saffron and red chili and mix it nicely.
- Now put almond paste and whole red chili and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
- Then mix coconut and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- When gravy is thick, take out in dish, garnish with almonds and serve.
