Sesame Fried Fish In Spicy Sauce by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Fish:

  • Fish pieces as required
  • Vinegar 2-3 tbsp
  • Maida 1 cup
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Sauce:

  • Chili sauce 1/2 cup
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
  • Tomato puree 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Garnish:

  • Carrot finely sliced 1
  • Spring onion 2-3
  • Roasted sesame seeds 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For fish: Put vinegar and salt on fish and leave it for a while.
  2. Now coat with maida, fry it crispy, take it out and keep it aside.
  3. For sauce: Heat oil in pan and fry garlic.
  4. Then add chili sauce, chicken stock, black pepper, garlic, tomato puree, lemon juice, brown sugar and salt and cook until sauce is thick.
  5. Then mix sesame seeds and remove it.
  6. Now keep fish in serving dish, put sauce on top, garnish with carrot, spring onion and sesame seeds and serve it.
