Ingredients:

  • Lamb chunks 1 kg
  • Ground ginger 1 tsp
  • Saffron threads 1 pinch
  • Water 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Onion grated 1
  • Ras el hanout 2 tsp
  • Honey 1/4 cup
  • Olive oil 1/4 cup
  • Almonds toasted 1/3 cup
  • Raisins 1/3 cup
  • Butter or Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 1 piece

Method:

  1. Marinate meat with salt, black pepper, saffron dissolved in water and ras el hanout for 1 hour.
  2. Now heat olive oil in pan, put onion and fry it.
  3. Then add ginger garlic paste, roast it, put marinated meat and cook until color comes.
  4. Then add water and cook until tender.
  5. Now put ghee or butter, cook for 2 minutes and m ix honey.
  6. Then add raisins and almonds and serve with Arabic bread.
