Ingredients:
- Honey 1 cup
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Butter 6 oz
- Granulated sugar 1/2 cup
- Eggs 3
- Flour 3/4 cup
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Baking soda 1/4 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Walnuts chopped & roasted 1 cup
For Honey Icing:
- Butter softened 3 oz
- Honey 3 tbsp
- Icing sugar 1-1/3 tsp
Method:
- Mix honey and yogurt in bowl.
- Now mix butter and sugar and beat until creamy.
- Then put eggs 1 by 1.
- Beat after putting 1 egg.
- Now mix flour, honey & yogurt mixture, baking powder, baking soda and salt & butter mixture.
- Then mix all ingredients and add in walnut mixture.
- Now spread this mixture in pan and bake on 175 degrees C for 1 hour.
- Then take out cake on wire rack and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- For honey icing: Beat butter and honey until smooth.
- Then add icing sugar gradually gradually.
- Also beat until it becomes spread.
- Now spread icing on cold cake.
- Cut cake into square small pieces and serve.
