Ingredients:

  • Fresh milk 1 liter
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Carrots grated 1/2 kg
  • Cardamoms 6
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Walnuts finely chopped 1/2 cup
  • Boiled almonds finely chopped 10
  • Rice flour 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Dry water of carrots.
  2. Grind cardamom and with 1 tsp sugar.
  3. Now mix milk, 1 cup sugar, cardamom and carrots in pot and cook it.
  4. When carrots and sugar dissolves, mix rice in little milk and add in fresh milk.
  5. Also put walnuts.
  6. When gajrela is nicely thick, take out in bowl and cool it.
  7. Then put almonds and serve.
