Ingredients:

  • Rice soaked 3 cups
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Onion 1
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Peanuts chopped 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 1
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Potatoes 2
  • Green peas 1/2 kg
  • Carrots 2
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Chicken cubes 2
  • Salt 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until brown.
  2. Now put tomatoes.
  3. Then add salt, cinnamon, red chili powder, bay leaves, ginger garlic paste, peanuts and cumin seeds and roast it.
  4. Now put 2 cup water, potatoes, peas, carrots and chicken cubes and cook it.
  5. When vegetable tender, add soaked rice and cook on low flame.
  6. Then simmer it and remove from stove.
  7. Masala bhat is ready.
