Peach Cobbler by Chef Tahir Chaudhry

Ingredients:

  • Peaches 2
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Oil or Butter 1/4 cup
  • White sugar 3 cup
  • Flour 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/8 tsp
  • Nutmeg 1 pinch
  • Cinnamon 1 pinch
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Cornstarch as required

Method:

  1. Preheat oven on 425 degrees C.
  2. Now toast peaches, 1/4 cup white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice and cornstarch in big bowl.
  3. Then put in baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Now blend flour, 1/2 cup white sugar, baking powder and salt with oil and add some water.
  5. Then take out peaches from oven and put on it with mixture, sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake more for 30 minutes and serve.
