Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
- Corn flour 1/2 cup
- Egg whites 2
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Chicken cube flour 1 tbsp
- Soya sauce 1 tbsp
- White vinegar 1 tbsp
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste
For Sauce:
- Pineapple cubes 1 tin
- Chicken stock 1 cup
- Tomato ketchup 1 cup
- Capsicum cubes 2
- Garlic finely chopped 4
- Sesame oil 1 tsp
- Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
- Chili sauce 1 tbsp
- Jaggery 1 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- White vinegar 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Marinate chicken with corn flour, baking powder, salt, egg whites, chicken cube flour, soya sauce, white vinegar and oil for 30 minutes.
- Now heat 2 tbsp oil in wok, fry garlic until golden brown and add stock.
- Also put tomato ketchup, jaggery, salt, soya sauce, white vinegar, chili sauce and 1 tin pineapple juice.
- Then fry capsicum cubes lightly in separate pan.
- Then heat oil in wok, deep fry masala chicken, put sauce and put sesame seed oil.
- Sweet & sour chicken is ready.
