Arvi Gosht by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Colocasia (Arvi) 1/2 kg
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Chopped onions 2
- Lemons 2
- Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
- All spice 1 tsp
- Chopped green chilies 3
- Oil 1 cup
Method:
- Wash arvi, peel it, grease hands and spread some turmeric on arvi.
- Now put mutton, 2 cup hot water, onion, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and oil in pot and cook on low flame.
- When meat tender, put arvi and 3 green chilies and roast it nicely.
- Then put 2-1/2 cups hot water.
- When arvi tender, put lemon juice, all spice, 2 green chilies and coriander leaves and simmer it for 5 minutes.
- When oil comes up, arvi gosht is ready.
