Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Colocasia (Arvi) 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chilies 3
  • Oil 1 cup

Method:

  1. Wash arvi, peel it, grease hands and spread some turmeric on arvi.
  2. Now put mutton, 2 cup hot water, onion, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and oil in pot and cook on low flame.
  3. When meat tender, put arvi and 3 green chilies and roast it nicely.
  4. Then put 2-1/2 cups hot water.
  5. When arvi tender, put lemon juice, all spice, 2 green chilies and coriander leaves and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  6. When oil comes up, arvi gosht is ready.
