Ingredients:

  • Chicken (16 pieces) 1-1/2 kg
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Water 3 cups
  • Rice 3/4 kg

Other Ingredients:

  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Mace 1/4 tsp
  • Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Dried plum 8-10
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Mint leaves few
  • Green chilies few
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Kewra few drops
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Make potli and put onion, ginger, garlic, fennel seeds and coriander seeds.
  2. Boil chicken with masalay potli in 3 cups water until tender.
  3. Then take it out and waste potli.
  4. Now heat oil, put onion, ginger garlic, yogurt, salt, coriander powder, all spice, nutmeg, mace, red chili powder, lemon juice, coriander leaves, mint leaves and mint leaves and fry it.
  5. Then add boiled chicken and cook until oil comes up.
  6. Now put dried plum.
  7. Then boil rice with salt until it is ready.
  8. Then put cooked chicken mixture in big pan and spread chopped green masala.
  9. Now put boiled rice.
  10. Put kewra and yellow food color mixture.
  11. Then put fried onion and simmer it.
