12 Masala Chicken by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:
- Chicken with bone 1/2 kg
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Tomatoes 3-4
- Tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Green chilies 4-5
- Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
- Oil 2-3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For 12 Masala:
- Coconut 3-4 tbsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tsp
- Onion 1
- Garlic 3-4 cloves
- Ginger 1 inch
- Whole red chilies 5-6
- Whole black pepper 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
- Carom seeds 1/3 tsp
- Curry leaves 3-4
Method:
- For 12 masala: Put all ingredients in pan and roast it.
- Then put in blender, grind it and keep it aside.
- Then heat oil in second pan and fry mustard seeds and garlic paste.
- Now add chicken and fry it.
- When color changes, mix tomatoes and cook it.
- When tomatoes tender, add 12 masala and salt and mix it.
- Now add water as required.
- When chicken tender, add green chilies and tamarind pulp and mix it.
- When chicken is ready, dish out it, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
