Lemon Garlic Fish by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Boneless fish 300 gm
  • Maida 1/2 cup
  • Egg whites 2
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Lemon Sauce:

  • Chicken cube 2
  • Lemon zest 1
  • Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 5-6
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Ginger slices 1 inch
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put salt on fish.
  2. Beat egg whites in mixing bowl.
  3. Now dip fish in eggs and coat with maida.
  4. Heat oil in pan, fry fish and keep it aside.
  5. Now heat oil and fry garlic.
  6. Now add brown sugar, black pepper, lemon juice and salt and mix it.
  7. Then add chicken cube and water as required and cook it.
  8. When it boils, dissolve corn flour in water and mix it.
  9. Now put fish cubes and mix it.
  10. When sauce is thick, remove it.
  11. Then keep on serving platter.
  12. Then garnish with lemon zest and ginger slices and serve.
