Ingredients:

  • Butter 200 gm
  • Caster sugar 1 cup
  • Flour 2 cups
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Eggs 4
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Butter milk 1/2 cup
  • Plum 4

For Base:

  • Butter 50 gm
  • Brown sugar 4 tbsp
  • Plum halved 10-12

Method:

  1. Preheat oven on 180 degrees C.
  2. Now mix 50 gm butter, brown sugar and cinnamon powder in 9 inch round cake pan on low flame until sugar dissolves.
  3. Then close stove, spread butter on all sides and spread 10-12 plum halved.
  4. Now beat 200 gm butter and caster sugar in separate bowl till light and fluffy.
  5. Then add eggs one by one and beat it nicely.
  6. Then add vanilla essence.
  7. Now strain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix with butter milk in butter, sugar and eggs mixture.
  8. Then fold plum in cake batter, put in pan and bake for 50 minutes.
