Ingredients:
- Butter 200 gm
- Caster sugar 1 cup
- Flour 2 cups
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Baking soda 1/4 tsp
- Salt 1 pinch
- Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
- Eggs 4
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Butter milk 1/2 cup
- Plum 4
For Base:
- Butter 50 gm
- Brown sugar 4 tbsp
- Plum halved 10-12
Method:
- Preheat oven on 180 degrees C.
- Now mix 50 gm butter, brown sugar and cinnamon powder in 9 inch round cake pan on low flame until sugar dissolves.
- Then close stove, spread butter on all sides and spread 10-12 plum halved.
- Now beat 200 gm butter and caster sugar in separate bowl till light and fluffy.
- Then add eggs one by one and beat it nicely.
- Then add vanilla essence.
- Now strain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix with butter milk in butter, sugar and eggs mixture.
- Then fold plum in cake batter, put in pan and bake for 50 minutes.
