Fried Dhaga Kabab by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Beef mince 1/2 kg
  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Fried onion 1
  • Egg 1
  • Cloves 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Bread slices 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Green cardamom 4
  • Black pepper 4
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted chickpeas 2 tbsp
  • Raw papaya 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix chickpeas, poppy seeds, cumin seeds, green cardamom, black pepper and cloves and grind finely.
  2. Now add this masala in mince with bread slices and grind in chopper.
  3. Then mix onion and green chilies.
  4. Then add papaya, knead it nicely and keep for 10 minutes.
  5. Now make small round kabab and shallow fry in frying pan.
  6. When all kababs are fried and spread fried kabab on big tawa or frying pan.
  7. Put lemon juice, all spice powder and coriander leaves and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  8. Fried dhaga kabab is ready.
