Hyderabadi Chicken Methi Biryani by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Chicken (16 pieces) 1 kg
- Rice boiled 1/2 kg
- Black cumin 1/2 tsp
- Bay leaf 1
- Brown onions 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Methi leaves 3 bunches
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 2 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Tomatoes chopped 3
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Cream 2 tbsp
- Eggs hard boiled 2
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Salt 1 tsp
Method:
- Boil rice with salt, black cumin and bay leaf until it is 3/4 ready.
- Now heat oil, put ginger garlic paste with methi.
- Then put salt, with turmeric, red chili powder, all spice and tomatoes, fry t nicely and put brown onion.
- Then add chicken, cover it and cook for 10 minutes.
- Then put 1 cup water and cook until chicken tender.
- Now add green chilies and coriander leaves.
- Then spread rice mixture with cream and butter on chicken mixture.
- Then simmer it for 15-20 minutes.
- Then garnish with boiled eggs and serve.
