Ingredients:

  • Whole chicken 1
  • Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • White vinegar 1/2 cup
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 3
  • Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Boiled potatoes as required

Method:

  1. Mark deep cut on whole chicken.
  2. Wash it nicely and marinate with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, vinegar, soya sauce and salt for 30 minutes.
  3. Then keep chicken in big pot, cover it and cook on low flame.
  4. When water of chicken dries, add oil, lemon juice and black pepper and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  5. Yogurt steamed chicken is ready.
  6. Serve with boiled & fried potatoes.
