Ingredients:

  • Lauki (peeled & cubed) 1/2 kg
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Onion chopped 2
  • Tomatoes chopped 2 cups
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Green chilies chopped 2
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves handful
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put cumin, onion and green chilies until onion is light golden.
  2. Now add ginger garlic with tomatoes, salt, red chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder.
  3. Then put lauki and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Then cover it and simmer it.
  5. Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
