Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Green gram boiled 1 cup
  • Red lentils boiled 1/2 cup
  • Plum 200 gm
  • Cumin seeds crushed 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chilies crushed 2 tsp
  • Fried onion 1
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Water 2 cup
  • Green chilies 4
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch

For Tempering:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Curry leaves 10

Method:

  1. Wash chicken, put plum, cumin seeds, ginger garlic, turmeric, red chilies, onion, salt and water and cook on low flame.
  2. When chicken tender, add green gram, red lentil and 1 cup water and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  3. Now put green chilies and coriander leaves.
  4. Then heat oil, put ginger, cumin seeds and curry leaves, fry it and give tarka to chicken.
