Cheesy Garlic & Herb Rolls by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

For Roll:

  • Flour 3 cups
  • Yeast 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Powder milk 2 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds for topping
  • Egg beaten 1

For Filling:

  • Butter 2 oz
  • Parmesan cheese 2-3 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Parsley 1 tbsp
  • Mixed herbs 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put flour, yeast, salt, sugar, oil, egg and powder milk in big bowl and knead soft dough with lukewarm water.
  2. Now leave it for rise for 1 hour.
  3. For filling: Knead dough and roll lengthwise.
  4. Now spread filling and roll again like Swiss roll.
  5. Then cut into 1 inch slice.
  6. Now keep on greased round cake tin and leave it again for rise till dough is double.
  7. Then brush with beaten egg, sprinkle sesame seeds and bake on 200 degrees C for 15 minutes.
