Frozen Salad by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Crud 1/2 kg
- Gelatin 2 tbsp
- Tomato deseeded 1
- Capsicum deseeded 1
- Cucumber deseeded 1
- Green chilies chopped 2
- Mint leaves chopped 1 tbsp
- Pomegranate seeds 1/2 cup
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
- Apple, Tomato, Iceberg lettuce for garnish
Method:
- Beat curd and season with salt, sugar, red chili powder, chaat masala and cumin powder.
- Add 1/2 cup water to gelatin and let it soften.
- Then heat gently and let it dissolve, don't let it boil.
- Let it cool a bit and incorporate with curd with electric batter.
- Add cucumber, tomato, capsicum and mint to curd.
- Add half pomegranate seeds also.
- Pout into lightly oiled ring mold and freeze till set about 4 hours.
- Turn out on plate surrounded by your salad of apple, tomato and iceberg lettuce.
- Serve with biryani.
