Coconut & Sooji Ka Halwa by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Semolina 250 gm
  • Raisins 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Coconut 1 cup
  • Fresh milk 1 cup
  • Small cardamoms 4
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Cloves 4
  • Almonds chopped 15
  • Ghee 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Grind cardamom with1 tsp  sugar.
  2. Now heat ghee in wok, put cardamom and cloves and roast it.
  3. Then add sugar and cook it.
  4. When sugar dissolves, put milk and raisins.
  5. Then grease dish and spread halwa.
  6. Fry almonds in frying pan.
  7. Then put coconut and almonds on halwa and serve hot.
