Ingredients:

  • Spinach (washed) 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Potatoes (4 quarters) 2 large
  • Garlic crushed 1 tsp
  • Red pepper crushed 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Whole red chilies 8
  • Cumin 1/4 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put garlic and fry until brown.
  2. Now add spinach with salt, 1 tsp red pepper, 1/2 tsp cumin and red chilies.
  3. Now cook spinach for 7-8 minutes and take out mixture.
  4. Then put potatoes, 1/4 tsp cumin, 1 tsp red pepper and 3/4 water, cover it and cook until potatoes tender.
  5. Now add spinach mixture in potatoes and cook for few minutes.
  6. Then put red chili powder and serve.
