Chicken Shawarma by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
  • Garlic cloves 3-4 cloves
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • BBQ masala 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

For Filling:

  • Pickled cucumber 1/2 cup
  • Pickled chili 1/2 cup
  • Pita bread 4
  • Cucumber 1
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Lettuce leaves 3-4
  • Slice 1 cup
  • Olive oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Olives slices 1 cup

Method:

  1. For chicken: Cut chicken into finely slices.
  2. Heat oil in pan and fry chicken pieces and garlic.
  3. Now put yogurt, vinegar, lemon juice, salt and bbq masala, fry it slightly and dry it.
  4. Then take out in plate and cool it. Chicken is ready.
  5. For salad: Cut tomato and cucumber into thin slices.
  6. Cut lettuce leaves into finely slices and take out big bowl.
  7. Then add tomato, cucumber and lettuce leaves and put olive oil.
  8. Then add pickled cucumber and pickled chili. Salad is ready.
  9. For pita filling: Foment pita bread slightly in pan.
  10. Then open it, add chicken mixture, sauce, olives and salad.
  11. Chicken shawarma is ready.
