Ingredients:
- Almonds 25 gm
- Melon seeds 25 gm
- Whole black peppercorns 1 tsp
- Cardamom 4-5
- Cumin seeds 1 pinch
- Poppy seeds 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds 4 tbsp
- Sugar as required
- Ice cubes as required
Method:
- Grind almonds, melon seeds, black peppercorns, cardamom, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds and sugar in grinder, put in muslin cloth and make potli.
- Then put in 1 jug water and take out its arq.
- When ready, take out in glass, put ice and serve with mint leaves.
Thandai is a Cold Drink, prepared with Almonds & Spices and served with Mint Leaves. It is common drink in in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
