Ingredients:
- Chicken cubes 400 gm
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
- Soya sauce 1 tbsp
For Batter:
- Egg 1
- Flour 3 tbsp
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder 1/4 tsp
For Sauce:
- Capsicum crushed 1
- Orange juice 1/3 cup
- Finely chopped onion 1
- Corn flour 1 tsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Stock 1 cup
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper 1/4 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Oil 1/4 cup
Method:
- Marinate chicken cubes with salt, black pepper and soya sauce.
- Make batter of egg, flour, corn flour, salt, black pepper and baking powder.
- Then dip chicken in batter and deep fry it.
- For sauce: Heat oil and fry onion and capsicum until soft.
- Now add soya sauce, salt, black pepper, vinegar, ketchup, stock and orange juice.
- Then dissolve corn flour in little water and put it.
- When thick, take it out.
- Then add in chicken and serve with fried rice and coleslaw salad.
Mandarin Chicken is a Main Course dish, prepared with Chicken, marinated with Soya Sauce, dipped in Egg & Flour mixture and served with Sauce, Rice & Salad.
