Oyster Sauce Chicken by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (20 pieces) 1 kg
  • Garlic (finely chopped) 1 tsp
  • Ginger slices 1 tbsp
  • Mushrooms 2-3 tbsp
  • Boiled peas 1/2 cup
  • Green onions chopped 2 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 3 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Sweet sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Water 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil and stir fry ginger and garlic until brown,
  2. Now add chicken pieces and cook for 20 minutes till golden.
  3. Then put mushrooms and peas.
  4. Now add green onions, oyster sauce, soya sauce, chicken stock, salt, white pepper and sweet sauce and cook until it boils.
  5. Then dissolved corn flour in 1/4 cup water, add it, stir it and cook until thick.

Oyster Sauce Chicken is a Main Course dish, prepared with Chicken, Oyster Sauce, White Pepper, Sweet Sauce and Peas and can be served with Plain Rice or Naan or Roti.
