Ingredients:

  • Sela rice boiled 1 kg
  • Potatoes 3
  • Boiled beef 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Tomatoes 250 gm
  • Chopped green chilies 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Crushed chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Mixed all spices 1 tbsp
  • Star anise 4
  • Mace powder 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala 2 tsp
  • Chinese salt 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Plum 50 gm
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Yellow food color 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Fried onions 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Put 1 cup water,  1/2 cup yogurt, red chili powder, crushed chili powder, turmeric, salt, mixed all spices, ginger garlic, Chinese salt, nutmeg, mace and star anise in bowl and mix it.
  2. Then put in pot, add boiled beef and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Then put potatoes and roast it.
  4. When half tender, put yellow food color in 1 cup yogurt and spread it.
  5. Put fried onion, tomatoes slices, plum, coriander leaves, mint leaves, chaat masala, curry leaves and ginger and put boiled rice.
  6. Now put 1/2 cup on rice, simmer it for 30 minuted and close stove.

Beef Biryani is a Subcontinent Rice Dish. It is prepared with Rice, Beef, Potatoes, Yogurt & Spices, garnished with Coriander Leaves, Green Chilies and Fried Onion and served with Raita and Salad. It is usually served in Night Meal specially in Parties.
