Ingredients:
- Mutton 250 gm
- Onion medium 1
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Wheat of haleem (soaked) 2 tbsp
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Whole garam masala 1 tsp
Other Ingredients:
- Ginger garlic 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric 1 pinch
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Curd 2 tbsp
- Tomato chopped 2
- Green chilies 2
- Black pepper 4
- Clove 1
- Cardamom 1
- Cinnamon 1 stick
Method:
- Put fennel seeds and whole garam masala in cloth and make small potli.
- Now heat oil and fry onion until light golden.
- Then fry ginger garlic, cumin, red chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder with tomatoes nicely.
- Then put black pepper, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, salt, mutton, wheat and potli and cook it nicely.
- Then add 2 cup water, cover it and leave it on low flame.
- When mutton tender, put curd and cook again until oil comes up.
Khaliya is a Main Course, prepared with Mutton, Wheat & Curd and served with Raita & Naan or Rice.
