Ingredients:

  • Colocasia 1/2 kg
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Green chilies 3
  • Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin (roasted & ground) 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
  • Kabab masala 1 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash arvi nicely and boil with skin.
  2. Now put gram flour, egg, yogurt, kabab masala, red chili flakes, carom seeds, salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves and tamarind paste in bowl and make thick paste.
  3. When arvi tender, cool it and peel it.
  4. Then grease hands, keep arvi in center, press with hands and make like cutlets.
  5. Then dip in gram flour mixture, heat oil in frying pan and deep fry kabab.
  6. When golden brown, take it out and serve with tomato ketchup.

Arvi Ky Kabab is South Asian Dish. It is prepared with Arvi, coated with Gram Flour, Green Chilies, Coriander Leaves & Mint Leaves mixture and served with Ketchup or Sauce.
