Ingredients:
- Milk 2 liter
- Saffron 1/2 tsp
- Yellow food color 1 pinch
- Fresh cream 1 cup
- Rice soaked 1 cup
- Khoya 1 cup
- Sugar 1-1/2 cup
- Almonds 50 gm
- Pistachios 50 gm
- Currants 50 gm
- Coconut 50 gm
- Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
- Silver leaves 2
Method:
- Cook 2 liter milk.
- Now put saffron, rice and 1 cup milk in blender and blend it.
- Then put in boiled milk and cook on low flame.
- When thick, put sugar.
- Then add khoya, food color and cardamom powder.
- Then take out in dish, garnish with almonds, pistachios, currants, coconut and silver leaves and serve.
Mughlai Kesari Kheer is Mughlai Sweet Dish. It is prepared with Milk & Rice and garnished with Nuts & Silver Leaves. It is prepared on Muslims Festival such as Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha.
