Thai Mince Rice by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Sela rice 1/2 kg
  • Beef mince 1/2 kg
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
  • Spring onion (white part) 2-3
  • Chopped red chilies 1 tsp
  • Oyster sauce 1-2 tbsp
  • Red curry paste 1 tbsp
  • Fish sauce 1 tbsp
  • Basil 1 pinch
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Spring onion for garnish

Method:

  1. Wash rice nicely and clean it.
  2. Now soak it in water 2-3 hours.
  3. Boil rice hard, strain it and keep it aside.
  4. Heat oil in pan and fry garlic.
  5. Then add beef mince and roast it.
  6. Then put red curry paste, green chilies, salt, oyster sauce, lemon juice and fish sauce and mix it nicely.
  7. Then put basil and boiled rice and mix it nicely.
  8. When rice is ready, take out in dish, garnish with green onion and serve.
