Ingredients:
- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
- Fresh milk 1 cup
- Oil 1 cup
- Rice 2 cups
- Saffron as required
- Cloves 4
- Small cardamom 6
- Sugar 1-1/2 cup
- Boiled almonds 10-15
- Pistachio 15-20
- Colorful ashrafiyaan as required
- Sugar 1 tsp
For Boil Rice:
- Small cardamom 4
- Cloves 4
Method:
- Put rice and 4-5 cups water in pot.
- Also add 4 small cardamom and 4 cloves and boil 2/4.
- Boil almonds and pistachios, peel it and cut into 2 pieces.
- When rice boils 2/4, drain water.
- Then heat oil in pot, put 4 cloves, 1 tsp sugar and 6 small cardmom.
- When aroma comes, put chicken and dry water.
- Then mix rice in chicken.
- Also add ashrafiyaan.
- Now mix almonds, pistachios and 1-1/2 cups sugar.
- Then mix saffron in milk, put it, mix it nicely and put again in pot.
- First keep on high flame and simmer on tawa.
- Mutanjan is ready.
Mutanjan is Pakistani Sweet Dish or Sweet Rice, prepared with Rice, Nuts, Chicken, Saffron & Dry Fruit. It is served in Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan.
