Ingredients:
- Mutton (small pieces) 1/2 kg
- Salt 1 tsp
- White pepper 1/2 tsp
- Whole mix spices 1 tbsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Water 3 cups
- Potatoes chopped 2
- Carrots chopped 2
- Peas 1/2 cup
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Onion (small) 10
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Milk 1 cup
- Butter 2 oz
Method:
- Boil mutton with salt, white pepper, whole mix spices, vinegar, soya sauce and water until meat tender and 2 cup stock remains.
- Now put potatoes and carrots and cook it.
- Then add flour, milk and butter.
- Now put peas and onion.
- Simmer stew for 15 minutes on low flame and serve it.
English Stew is a Main Course and served in Gravy. It is prepared with Mutton & Vegetables and simmered.
