Surti Daal by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:
- Moong daal 100 gm
- Masoor daal 100 gm
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Finely chopped tomatoes 4
- Finely chopped onion 1
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Kasoori methi 1 tsp
- Finely chopped coriander leaves 3 tbsp
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Water 2-1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
For Bhagar:
- Whole cumin 1/2 tsp
- Whole red chilies 4-5
Method:
- Soak moong daal and masoor daal and soak it.
- Now strain lentils and put in microwave proof mixing bowl.
- Then add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, water, salt, oil, turmeric, all spice powder, kasoori methi and onion, mix it nicely and set in daily menu option A-19.
- Take it out after few few minutes and mix it nicely.
- Now take out out, put in blender and mix it.
- Then take out in dish and give bhagar of cumin and red chilies.
- Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
Surti Daal is Gujarati Cuisine and different recipe. It is prepared with Moong Lentil & Masoor Lentil, bhagar with Cumin & Red Chilies, garnished with Coriander Leaves and served with Naan or Roti.
