Butterscotch Ice Cream by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

For Ice Cream:

  • Milk 2-1/2 cup
  • Condensed milk 1/2 cup
  • Icing sugar 1/4 cup
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Butterscotch essence 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow food color few

For Praline:

  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Chopped almonds 1/4 cup
  • Oil for greasing

Method:

  1. For praline: Heat sugar in pan until golden brown.
  2. Remove from stove, add almonds and mix it nicely.
  3. Then put on tray, cool it and harden completely.
  4. Crush into small pieces and keep aside.
  5. For ice cream: Combine all ingredients except butterscotch essence and whisk together so that no lumps remain.
  6. Now put in non-stick pan, cook for 5 to 7 minutes and cool completely.
  7. Then add butterscotch essence and mix it nicely.
  8. Put in shallow container, cover and freeze until set.
  9. Divide mixture into 2 equal parts and blend it nicely.
  10. Then mix 2 parts together, add praline and mix lightly.
  11. keep again in fridge until it set.

Butterscotch Ice Cream is Sweet and Rich Treat Ice Cream. It is prepared with Milk & Butterscotch Essence and topped with Praline.
