Ingredients:

  • Eggs separated 3
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Flour 1-1/2 cups
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Melted butter 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat egg yolks with sugar, milk, water and vanilla essence.
  2. Then add salt, flour, corn flour and baking powder.
  3. Now put melted butter slowly slowly and beat until smooth.
  4. Then beat egg whites until hard and mix in batter.
  5. Now leave for a while and heat on waffle iron.
  6. When hot, put large spoon of batter in iron, close it and cook it.
  7. Now cool on wire rack and serve with honey, ice cream or sauce.

Waffles is a Dessert. It is eaten in whole world and there is lot of regional varieties in Belgium. It is cooked in Waffle Iron between 2 metal plates. It is prepared with Milk, Eggs & Butter and served with Sauce or Ice Cream.
