Aloo Chanay Ki Tarkari by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chickpeas 250 grams
  • Boiled potatoes 250 grams
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
  • Crushed cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves 3-4 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry onion until light brown.
  2. Now add garlic paste and mix it.
  3. Then put boiled potato cubes and also put chickpeas.
  4. Now add red chilies, cumin seeds, tamarind paste, all spice powder and salt.
  5. Also add water as required and cook until potatoes and chickpeas are mixed together nicely.
  6. Then put onion seeds and mix it.
  7. Keep some gravy, take out in dish, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Aloo Chanay ki Tarkari is Breakfast Dish. It is served with Halwa & Puri. It is prepared with Chickpeas & Potatoes and garnished with Coriander Leaves.
