Ingredients:
- Semolina 250 grams
- Green cardamoms 3-4
- Saffron 1 pinch
- Orange food color 1/3 tsp
- Sugar as required
- Ghee 1 cup
- Almonds or Pistachios as required
- Kewra essence few drops
- Silver leaves as required
Method:
- Roast semolina in pot.
- Now put cardamom in ghee and mix sugar.
- Then put semolina, almonds, pistachios and orange food color and mix it nicely.
- Also stir it.
- When halwa is roasted, put saffron and kewra essence and mix it.
- When halwa leaves ghee, take out in dish, garnish with silver paper and serve.
Zafrani Halwa is Pakistani Sweet Dish. It is prepared with Semolina & Saffron and garnished with Almonds & Pistachios. It is served with Puri in Breakfast, in Parties as a Sweet Dish and in Muslim Festivals.
