Ingredients:
- Mutton or Beef 450 gm
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Chili powder 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper 1/4 tsp
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Cinnamon stick 1
- Cardamom 3
- Green chili 3
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Onion 1
- Garlic cloves 2
- Ginger grated 1 piece
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Ground cumin 1 tsp
- Ground coriander 1 tsp
- Garam masala 1 tsp
- Tomato chopped 3 medium
- Fresh coriander leaves handful
- Paprika powder as required
- Red chili as required
Method:
- Put beef or mutton in medium bowl, add lemon juice, paprika powder, chili powder and black pepper powder, mix it, marinate for 15 minutes and keep it aside.
- Then heat oil in pan, add cinnamon, cardamom, whole chili and cumin seeds and add, ginger, garlic and onion and fry on medium flame until golden brown.
- Now add marinated meat in remaining oil and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add turmeric, cumin, coriander and garam masala, cook for 2 minutes on low flame, put water and cook for 15-20 minutes till meat tender.
- Then add tomatoes, cook on high flame for 5-8 minutes and serve hot.
