Pasta Pulao by Chef Tahir Chaudhry

Ingredients:

  • Boiled spiral pasta 3 cups
  • Water 1 cup
  • Oil or Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seed 1 tbsp
  • Onion sliced 1
  • Chopped tomatoes 1 cup
  • Potatoes 1 cup
  • Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Boil pasta, strain it and keep it aside.
  2. Then heat oil in big pan, add onion and cumin, when onion is light brown, add tomatoes, potatoes, garam masala, salt and chili powder, stir fry it and mix it nicely.
  3. Now add 1/2 cup water, cook on low flame without cover, when potatoes tender, add pasta, simmer it on low flame for 3-5 minutes and serve hot.
