Ingredients:

  • Boiled mutton 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Ginger julienne 2 tbsp
  • Almond powder 2 tbsp
  • Coconut powder 1 tbsp
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Cream 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1/4 tsp
  • Kewra 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil mutton in 2 cup water until it is cooked.
  2. Now grind coconut powder, almond powder and green chilies and make paste.
  3. Then beat yogurt with salt and white pepper.
  4. Now heat oil, put boiled mutton and ginger and fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Then add yogurt and 1 cup water, cover it and cook until meat tender.
  6. Now put paste and cook more for 10 minutes.
  7. Then put cream, lemon juice, kewra, cardamom powder and all spice and serve hot.

Safaid Gosht is New Dish. This recipe is made with Yogurt instead of Tomatoes. It can be served with Naan.
