Ingredients:
- Mutton lover 1/2 kg
- Kabuli chickpeas 1 cup
- Masoor lentil 1/2 cup
- Lemons 3
- Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
- Roasted & crushed cumin 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Green chilies 6
- Finely chopped coriander leaves 1 bunch
- Finely chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch
- Sweet soda 1 tsp
- Oil as required
For Liver Wash:
Method:
- Wash chickpeas with lukewarm water and soak it.
- Drain its water and put fresh lukewarm water.
- Also add masoor lentil and cook it.
- When chickpeas little tender, put sweet soda and keep on low flame.
- Spread garlic potli on kidney without washing it for 20 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water.
- Then put washed kidney, ginger garlic paste and turmeric in pot and dry kidney water.
- Now add red chili powder, cumin, black pepper and oil, roast it nicely and put chickpeas.
- Then put ginger, few green chilies, coriander leaves and mint leaves and simmer it.
- When serve, put salt.
- Put green chilies, coriander leaves and mint leaves again and serve.
Chana Masala Kaleji is Tasty & Healthy Dish. This recipe is usually eaten in Eid-ul-Adha in Pakistan.
