Ingredients:

  • Mutton 750 gm
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 3 tsp
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp
  • Mace powder 1/4 tsp
  • Cloves 6-8
  • Black pepper 8-10

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in pan, put 1/2 cup water, yogurt, mutton, ginger garlic, salt, coriander powder, turmeric, clove, black pepper and red chili powder and cook until it tender.
  2. Then add remaining ingredients and simmer it.
  3. Now serve with taftaan.

Zafrani Mutton Korma is Common Dish of Pakistan and it has taste of Saffron.
