Spicy Daal Palak by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Moong daal 1 cup
  • Red masoor daal 1 cup
  • Spinach 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 6
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes 250 gm

For Tarka:

  • Curry leaves 10
  • Cumin 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 10 cloves
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1

Method:

  1. Wash both lentils and spinach and cook on low flame.
  2. When it tender, put red chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, salt and tomatoes and swot it.
  3. Then put green chilies.
  4. Then close stove and add cream.
  5. Then heat oil and fry onion until brown.
  6. Now put curry leaves, cumin and garlic.
  7. Then give tarka to daal and serve.

Spicy Daal Palak is Spicy, Delicious and Healthy Dish. It can be served as Light and meal and served with Rice or Roti.
