Pot Roast Oxtail by Chef Tahir Chaudhry

Ingredients:
- Oxtail 500 gm
- Crushed garlic 3 cloves
- Crushed ginger 1 inch
- Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
- Crushed peppercorns 2-3
- Cloves 3
- Cinnamon sticks 2 inches
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Water 1/2 cup
- Onions sliced 2
- Potato wedges 2 big
- Black pepper 1 tbsp
- Tomato puree 3 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
Method:
- Put oxtail, ginger, garlic, red chili powder, peppercorn, cloves, cinnamon, cumin, salt and water in pressure cooker for 45 minutes and cool it.
- Then heat oil in pan, fry onion until dark brown, add black pepper and tomato and cook it.
- Now add oxtail stock, tomato puree and potato, cook more for 5 minutes and serve hot.
